Jetstream Aviation Capital, LLC is pleased to announce the delivery of one Saab 2000 passenger aircraft to Aleutian Airways of Anchorage, Alaska on January 21, 2022.
The aircraft, serial number 2000-021, is the first of a multi-aircraft commitment between Jetstream and Aleutian Airways and will be used for the airline’s planned scheduled passenger service within the State of Alaska.
Aleutian Airways is a joint venture between long-time regional aviation investor Wexford Capital LP of West Palm Beach, Florida and Greenwich, Connecticut; Juneau, Alaska-based Alaska Seaplanes, and McKinley Alaska Private Investment, LLC of Anchorage, Alaska. Aleutian Airways expects to begin scheduled service from Anchorage in the second quarter of 2022. The Saab 2000 aircraft are operated by Sterling Airways of Jacksonville, Florida, an FAA Part 121 scheduled airline which is a portfolio company of Wexford Capital.
