Jörgen Gustafsson
Vice President, Europe & Aircraft Support Services
During his career in the commercial aviation industry, Jörgen Gustafsson has held positions of both technical and commercial responsibility within scheduled airlines, aviation maintenance and aircraft leasing organizations. He is responsible for managing all aspects of Jetstream’s business within Europe, including new business development, aircraft trading, technical management and commercial lease administration. In addition, Jörgen is responsible for Jetstream’s global aircraft support services businesses, which encompass long- and short-term turboprop engine leasing, passenger-to-freight aircraft conversions, and engine and component service plans. He is based in Jetstream’s office in Karlskrona, Sweden.
From 2007 to 2017, Jörgen was Chief Executive Officer of Alandia Air AB, a lessor of Saab 340 aircraft and engines, a division of Eriksson Capital, AB, a Finnish private equity firm. In that capacity, he was responsible for directing all aspects of the aircraft and engine leasing business and an associated Saab aircraft spare parts and rotables business. Previously, he served in senior management and technical positions with Swedline Express, a scheduled operator of Saab 340 and 2000 aircraft, Skyways AB, an operator of Embraer ERJ-145 regional jets, and Linjeflyg within its Saab 340 and Fokker F-28 jet operations, and as an independent technical advisor and auditor on various turboprop and jet aircraft programs.
Jörgen is an EASA-qualified Aircraft Engineer and is B1/B2 Part 66 certified on the ATR42, British Aerospace J32, Dornier Do228, Saab 340 and Shorts 330 aircraft.
